First Snow in Wulingyuan Scenic Zone in 2015
Wulingyuan scenic zone got the first snow on January 29, 2015, although the snow was not so heavy, but rime ice and silver thaw scenery formed as the lower temperatures was spectacular. Overseas tourists were truly intoxicated. According to incomplete statistics, there are more than one thousand tourists took the snow view in Huangshizhai, Yuanjiajie scenic in the morning.
Due to the factors of snow and scenic quality reconstruction, Wulingyuan tianzishan cable car and Yangjiajie cable car are out of service by now. Tourists can choose take Bailong elevator and yellow Stone Village cable car into the core area, also can choose climb up to Tianzi Mountain from Shili painting Gallery. Local tourism department reminded tourists to keep warm and watch steps for slippery, get in touch with the team and scenic staff to ensure travel safety. By now Golden Whip Stream, Shili Painting Gallery, Yellow Dragon Cave, Baofeng Lake and other scenic spots are open as normal.
Weather forecast shows 30 to 31 January, Zhangjiajie would be still snow, By then, the core scenic snow view will be more beautiful and attractive!
