Zhangjiajie Ranked on Top Ten Charming Forests List
On March 16, several well-known Website launched a list of world's top ten charming forests, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park rank on the list as the sole representative of China.
The other World’s top ten charming forests are Rome Black Forest, Canada Giant Bear Rainforest, Amazon rainforest in South America, United States National Forest soup GAZ, Japan Zuojia wild bamboo, New Zealand Waipoua Forest, Poland bend forest, Dane Australian rainforest, cloud forests of Costa Rica.
As China's first national forest park, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park covers a total area of 4810 hectares and the forest coverage rate is 98% high. As the birthplace of Zhangjiajie Tourism, zhangjiajie is picturesque with unique sandstone peaks and elegant waters. In 1992, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Suoxiyu and tianzishan Nature Reserve were regarded as the core content of Wulingyuan Scenic Area, and it was included in UNESCO World Natural Heritage list. In 2004, it was regarded as World Geological Park.
In 2013, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park ranked on the top ten charming forest launched by America world's leading online travel site www.cheapflights.com with its own unique charm as the sole representative of China as well.
